UNICEF Italia Charity Event for Ukraine – “Let's Color the Future”

The Charity Event “Let's Color the Future” took place on Wednesday 8th of June at the Central Theater in Rome to help UNICEF Italia to raise funds to help the Ukrainian children. The cultural event was produced and hosted by actress Claudia Conte, a cultural entrepreneur who has always been attentive to issues of social responsibility. Many personalities who were present during the evening including the President of UNICEF Italy Carmela Pace, the General director of UNICEF Paolo Rozera, the spokesperson Andrea Iacomini, the Goodwill Ambassador Gabriele Corsi, and other authoritative representatives of UNICEF who dedicate every day trying to save children’s lives all over the world.
The event was dedicated to solidarity and peace, full of energy and hope for the future. Many Italian VIP attended the event to unite to help UNICEF to raise funds to support the children and families of Ukraine and to promote their message against war. Famous singers and actors in attendance included Michele Zarrillo, Annalisa Minetti, Leo Gassman, Paolo Conticini, Max Giusti, and Pino Calabrese, who performed on stage for the noble cause.
The program of the evening reserved many special surprises and was filled with emotion due to the participation of many Ukrainian artists and performers.
The yound Ukrainian music prodigies –Diana and Daniella Dvalishvili, the nine and seven year-old sisters who fled the bombs in Ukraine, performed at the piano with touching songs of their homeland.
The performance of the Russian violinist Ksenia Milas and her husband the Ukrainian violinist Oleksandr Semchuk was extraordinary. It was an amazing way to launch a message of peace between two countries – Russia and Ukraine through music that unites cultures, peoples and ideas in a harmonious and perfect form of beauty. The show, directed by Marcello Cirillo with authorial contributions by Angela Prudenzi and musical accompaniment by Gaia Vazzoler, was conducted by Claudia Conte and featured many well-known actors and singers including Max Giusti, Maria Pia Calzone, Pino Calabrese, Luca Capuano, Aurora Ruffino, Jonis Bashir, Ingrid Muccitelli, Cinzia Leone, and Daniela Poggi.
Exciting performance by famous Italian singer Leo Gassmann who opened the evening with his latest autobiographical single “My Freedom”, while Annalisa Minetti interpreted “True Colors” dedicating it to the evening that featured colors of peace, hope and solidarity.
To end the great benefic evening there was the performance of a great star of Italian music Michele Zarrillo who sang his biggest hits that made the audience sing along. The charity auction enriched by the comedy of great Italian comedian Antonio Giuliani.
Among the audience present at the evening was also the vice president of CONI Silvia Salis, the karate champion Luigi Busà and, accompanied by Eagle Pictures, Marco Bocci, Paolo Conticini, Daniele Liotti, Mirca Viola, and Maite Bulgari.
"Let's color the future" is a hymn to solidarity and hospitality, a charity event in favor of UNICEF emergency programs in Ukraine, with the aim of providing essential aid and protection to children and their families. Many important companies and financial institutions that have donated to UNICEF thanks to this event: Banca Sella, Banca del Fucino, Cerved, CheBanca!, Circolo Canottieri Aniene, Eagle Pictures, Fondazione KPMG, Iconsulting, Ilbe, Tatatu, La Lucente , MAG, Net Insurance, NEXI, Open Economics, Poste Italiane, Tonucci & Partners, SACE. Claudia Conte commented on the evening’s success saying that it has been an evening "dedicated to solidarity, full of energy and hope for the future. Initiatives like this serve to raise everyone's attention to the implications of war and the need to try to safeguard the little ones. In this, UNICEF has been at the forefront for decades. And I am proud to have been able to make my small contribution to the cause”.
The only way that there is to contribute in stopping the war between Russia and Ukraine is to actually participate in gaining funds and helping who are in need in this dramatic historical moment and to launch a message of peace and unification between the two nations.
