Phillip Plein Presents RTW at Milan Fashion Week 2022
Reported by: Ekaterina Shevliakova
Phillip Plein presented his fall collection at the historic Palazzo Melzi d’Eril building that formerly housed Krizia’s headquarters and that will be the home of his first hotel, restaurant and club.
The designer used glowing flames projected behind the slim mirrored runway, with his logo burning brightly. The runway was filled with glamorous models that walked to pulsating music and a fire motif was also applied to men’s sweaters. For flare, he used a lightning symbol embellished on the lapels of a jacket worn over patent leather pants. Plein’s women are unapologetically oozy with sexy vibes, and the outerwear was strong for both men and women, with beautiful shearling and leather biker jackets .
