House of Gucci is influenced by the real-life story of the Gucci family and their tragic destiny and incredible legacy. When Patrizia Reggiani (Lady Gaga), an outsider from humble beginnings, marries into the Gucci family, her unbridled ambition begins to unravel the family legacy and triggers a reckless spiral of betrayal, decadence, revenge, and ultimately…murder. Lady Gaga’s transformation into Patrizia is worth talking about and noting. Her performance is brilliant, powerful, emotional and impeccable. Another noteworthy performance is by Jared Leto who plays Paolo Gucci and his transformation is not only unrecognizable but his performance is touching, brilliant and one to remember. Even though Lady Gaga was not nominated for an Oscar for her performance as Patrizia Reggiani, she delivered an outstanding acting worth seeing and talking about.
