'Bsou' Repertory Theatre Company Presents “T.R.U.T.H.” by Victor Vauban Junior
This Fall ‘BSOU’ REPERTORY THEATER COMPANY'S Executive Artistic Director Victor Vauban
Junior presents “T.R.U.T.H.”, a social drama that has been moving audiences throughout New York City.
This performance is laser focused on the trials, tribulations and triumphs of two different
families in New York City. These are excerpts are from award-winning plays by playwright
Victor Vauban Junior, who feels the obligation to share these stories with his neighborhood of
the Bronx after achieving success with them in the off-Off-Broadway circuit. This gut-wrenching
play was inspired by the words of the late Nina Simone, who said, “An artist’s duty is to reflect
the times”.
“The primary goal of this play is to entertain and to enable conversations about themes that
afflict our communities such as youth delinquency, mass incarceration of people of color, the
importance of family and mental health,” states Mr. Vauban who also directed the play.
“T.R.U.T.H.,” will be performed at the Poe Park Visitor Center in the Bronx in the Kingsbridge
area with duration of 90 minutes with no intermission.
