Taylor Re Lynn's Stuns in Ultra Marine on the Venice Film Festival Red Carpet. The couture gown is Venetian inspired in the beautiful color of ultramarine with gold embroidered embellishments on the bustiere with a coordinating organza cape. The name comes from the Latin ultramarinus, literally "beyond the sea", because the pigment was imported into Europe from mines in Afghanistan by Italian traders during the 14th and 15th centuries. Ultramarine was also the finest and most expensive blue used by Renaissance painters.The petite gold headdress was the perfect accent to complete the look.
